Sticky Fingers Cooking at Your School

Would you like cooking classes at your school?

Since 2011, Sticky Fingers Cooking has taught over 125,000 kids ages 3-18 in over schools, libraries, recreation centers, Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA's and more. Here are some things to know about our program:

• No kitchen required. All we need is a room with tables, an outlet and access to a sink
• Classes are typically one hour, but can be shorter or longer depending on your needs
• Scheduling is flexible! We host classes any time of the day and can follow your enrichment schedule
• Our recipes are 100% NUT-FREE and we can accommodate any food allergy with advance notice
• Globally inspired, healthy and nutritious recipes every class. A new and original recipe is created every week of the school year
• We cook with students of all ages! And we focus on PK-5th graders
• All our instructors have FBI and state fingerprint background checks and are covered by workers comp + insurance

What does Sticky Fingers Cooking Enrichment look like?

Sticky Fingers Cooking® is a cooking school for children that specializes in hands-on, before, during and after school enrichment classes. Our talented and experienced chefs bring all of the ingredients and equipment and activities to lead a safe, fun, interactive and educational one-hour cooking class. No kitchen required! All we need is a room with tables, an outlet, and access to a sink (classroom, lunchroom or teacher’s lounge are most common). 

Here is a sample of what a Sticky Fingers Cooking Class at your school would be like:

Our instructor shows up 15-20 minutes prior to class to set up in a designated area. We can collect our kids or have them meet us at the class (based on school protocol). The class lasts 1 hour, shorter or longer depending on your needs! Each week we create a new recipe from scratch. Students do all the slicing, chopping, grating and mixing as a team then we sit and eat our newest creation and talk about it! Our chef then ensures everything is cleaned up and returns the following week!

Things to know about classes at your school:

• We follow all CDC and district cleaning, sanitizing, and safety protocols. Safety is our top priority
• Our instructors are all FBI background checked and fingerprinted through state and national databases
• We raise DOUGH or your school and/or PTA/PTO! We support school’s annual fundraising efforts

Additional Information:

• We empower kids to be in charge of their health and food choices
• We have a FULL service website with free online enrollment, payment collection, and class roster organization. We also happily work with organizations who have their own centralized registration
• We can provide all marketing material to promote classes either via online flyers and/or paper flyers and posters
• We also offer private cooking classes, school break camps, summer camps, and birthday parties!​​​​​​​
